I recently did a show where i placed 2nd overall and 2nd lghthvy wt.... the problem they had wit me was that my arms over power my delts.... what are some of the best delt targeting workouts i could do?

overhead press

I like variations of overhead pressing, face pulls, and rowing done on the transverse plane.

It looks to me like it's your rear delts that are lacking the most. Face pulls and backwards flys are great for these.... Also good for delts are military press and side lateral raises.... classic but good exercises.

and for these movements... should i have a day for them alone or is working delts after chest an ok thing to do?

Prioritize your delts. Work them before you hit your chest exercises. I know, shudder at the thought of not doing the bench first thing, but hey, you're a bodybuilder. Attack your weak points.

My delts are my problem too. I have to train them 3x a week to get them to respond. You've got the genetics for great grains, try it out. Keep us posted

You might be training them too much if you are doing them 3 times a weeks. Plus the are involved in alot of non specific shoulder movements.

Seated dumbell presses and leaning unilateral side raises with a cable can't be beat for lagging delts. Dumbells work well also.

Various rows and unilateral reverse flys with a cable hit the rear delts hard.

Train delts alone and with the chest for the best results possible. Use straight sets, rest-pause, and drop sets. MIX IT UP!!!

are upright rows the best for getting broad shoulders? they work the outer delts so if they get bigger surely you should start looking more broad?

zapedy- i guess u could say that, youll have to have pretty huge lateral delts, but it could make you look more broad
