hi, im looking to get some creatine, except im not too sure what kind to get. Ive heard of Creatine pure powder, then there are things like NO2 Xplode. Are these basically identical or not? Which one would be better for someone looking to gain more muscle and trimming down body fat? Also, is there a significant amount of caffeine in them?

Also on a side question. For this loading phase, i HAVE to take 4 times a day for five days? Secondly, for every day after, which is maintenance, im suppose to take like 2 scoops a day. What happens if i skip a day or two or even a week inbetween?

O and one more thing, do i have to take it with a source of carbohydrates? Would it still be efficient if i ate a carb filled breakfast and an hour or two later work out?

Why would you take creatine if you are overweight? I see yous description says 220lb 5'10 and then some. It would make no fuckin sense of doing this.

YSK, could you tell us your stats, so we can help you out.

Why not take creatine if you're overweight? It's not going to make you store more fat. The only downside is potential water retention, but who cares about that?

Your strength really is no indication of your BF%.

Well I cant imagine someone being 225 lbs, being strong, and having 30% BF, unless he just wants to tone down some...like say go from 13% to 10%

Lol damn Buddy, I am not Overly overweight, but i can stand to shed a good bit of body weight. I wanna stay around 205 eventually, then down to around 200. I am actually around 25% BF more or less, maybe slightly less.

Stats? What kind of stats? Im trying to slowly lose more fat, and gain more mass and def. Im not trying to drastically cut or anything.

In terms of stats, im actually 219, was 223 about three weeks ago But like it makes a difference :P Yeah i can bench 235, but like ppl said, who cares. Other than that all that i can tell u is that im asian and i am 5 ,10, almost 5 11. I want to take creatine because:
a.) Im hoping it will boost up my energy when i work out thus burning more calories (also doing cardio with it)
b.) THat i develop muscle faster, and my strength increases
c.) these two combined will lead me to definition and a lower body fat.

Creatine isn't about trimming down fat, it's about maintaining and growing Lean Muscle mass.

Yeah thats what i heard, so im thinking that ill try to get down to 210, start creatine (already taking protein) for a while, then go back to lower bf even more till i get around 200.

Also, lets say if creatine isnt a good choice for me now, i wanna lose about 10-15 lbs before i start it, thers a really good deal going on at a local vendor (NOT GNC) so can i buy now and just hold off or will it go bad or something?

Why not? Have you ever seen some powerlifters? There are quite a few powerlifters that are around 20-25% BF, and yet their bench presses are huge... There are a group of about 8-10 of them at my gym... Some of them are fat as hell, but they're pushing 400-500lbs on a regular basis. If someone trains for strength, and not for the "bodybuilder" look, they can still be strong even if they're relatively fat.

If im trying to just lose fat, is creatine good?

It won't really help to use it, or to not use it in order to lose fat. Creatine just aids in forming ATP for your muscles to use as a bit of extra energy.

If your diet and training is in order, then yes it will help you.
