I started walking 2*45 minuts about 2 weeks ago(I usually walk 4 times a week) , and now my right knee hurts. It doesnt hurt badly, but I am definatly aware of the pain.
I can use it and it did not hurt extra on leg day, but it does hurt when walking down stairs when the foot lands hard.
I really dont want to stop my intensified cardio, but I dont want to make my knee worse either. And I dont want to switch to cycling/whatever, and I have good shoes.
I googled and it, and it seems the general advice is to do leg presses, but I think this advice does not apply to BB:s.
Any advice is appriciated.

So you start walking two weeks ago, you start off at 2 x 45 min sets, hopefully morning and night, and you've developed a tendonitis/bursitis in the knee.
What is approximate your age and height? Are you walking hard..that is, striking forcefully or walking lightly? Knee problems are common in heavy set indivduals who start on an agressive aerobic program without conditioning their joints properly.
In the absence of other information, I suspect that you are causing the strike impact associated inflammation of the tendon/muscle structure above the knee, which may mean your quads are weak. I would also like to know if you had an injury to this knee a while ago.
If you are right handed, you step out with your right leg, and in the absence of a previous injury, this might explain the sidedness of your present pain. If so, expect the other knee to also flare up over time.
You need to change to a walking or cross training type athletic shoe with insole support, and walk on softer surfaces if possible. Also change the dynamics of your stride.
You will need to stop temporarily, to avoid causing your inflammation to become chronic.
Anti-inflammatory and joint support supplements may help - glucosamine and MSM, for example.

Thanks for the reply. You're welcome...
I am right handed, 200 lbs, 6 feet 2", mid-twenties, no previous injury.
Long thigh bone. Impact stress. Shoes + conditioning problem.
1 stop walking for a while ( a week or 2?) Yes, until inflammation subsides.
Can you get access to a smooth elliptical cardio machine? OR bike ride.
Use these cardio exercises. We will get training help to condition your glutes and improve connective tissue strength in knees.
Can't just go back to it after the inflammation subsides, without addressing the underlying biomechanical issues.
2 get examined by my local sporting goods store for a shoe that fits my walking style and feet Yes
3 get antiinflamatory + joint fuel yes
4 walk in the woods ...maybe
5 easy into it when I start again no
edit: I am currently on a Ephedrine+coffein stack which in combination with my natural high tolerance for pain might have prevented me from feeling the injury sooner.
Laughing...coffeine => pure gold (made my day)
ECA might be screwing with inflammation response. Use green tea.
