Muscle Milk in diet?

For this contest diet I'm on, I'm staying relatively low to moderate carbohydrate intake each day, rather than cycling high/low/no like last time. Obviously fats are important when doing this; what does anyone think about using Muscle Milk shakes for breakfast? I break up my diet right now at six meals a day at 500 calories. A Muscle Milk serving, in milk, will be about 500. The ingredients seem like this would make an ideal morning meal; any thoughts for or against that on a contest diet? I'm 15 weeks out right now.

I don't see a problem with it, so long as the calories fit.

you may want to be careful of it as you get closer becaue most of those shakes have an ass load of sodium in them which will throw off anything you are thinking about doing with sodium load/depletion, etc.....make sure you take that into account.

Yeah, I'm actually salting everything I eat right now. My last show I think I still had quite a bit of water to let go (though it hurt to fucking walk--no padding of any kind on the bottoms of my feet!), but I'm not going to really focus on sodium manipulation until two weeks out. By then I'll be off all shakes.

Muscle milk raised my total and LDL cholesterol. I had bloodwork done last year.
