The box says whole grain. How does it compare to whole grain oats or red potatoes? I love this stuff. Sometimes I will cook a chicken breast, prepare a salad, and have Grape Nuts for dessert. Seems to satisfy my sweet tooth unlike oats. I realize the milk has sugar but I don't use much.

They are horrible. And you are eating all those carbs and sugar that late at night? That's diet suicide.
The general rule of thumb is, if something tastes good, it's bad for you.

Well, the box says no sugar. But if it's all processed and enriched I could understand why it would be as bad to eat. Just wondering if Grape Nuts is among the rank of oats as far as a good slow burning carb.

Absolutely not. It ranks down there with hydrogenated oils and sugar coated sugar squares.
