womens bodyfat- a question for the ladies

What is considered a healthy body fat % for women? I have heard 18-22, but that seems like a lot to me. Is it even possible to look fit at this level?

I have read that if you reach 12-13 percent you will stop menstruating normally but I know from personal experience that isn't true. So what is considered a safe & healthy level?

Also, something I have always wondered about:

They say women usually have a higher percentage of body fat than men. I am assuming this statistic is due to the fat in the female bust......so does this statistic hold more truth for large-busted women? Like, if you had a really large bust, you might not reach your ideal bodyfat % because you were genetically programmed to have a large bust. ( A problem that I will never have to worry about )

Any thoughts on this, ladies?

I'm around 10% right now and I still menstrate...though it is rather irregular and unpredictable

My wife is at 12% and she still has normal female things going on.
I think when she got down to 8% she experienced some irregularites though.
