I was wondering if anyone here has it or knows someone who has it and what they do to alleviate the symptoms.

Hi Oak, I've had it a few times or what seemed like it, coupled with Bells Palsy. The two usually occurr together for me. The last time I had it was the first time I was able to figure out what to do. I took a vitamin B-12 supplement. I don't recall the doseage. I do know that after a full nights sleep for the first week of having CFS, I'd wake up, get ready for work, and then have to lay down for an hour to have enough energy to make it in to work. When I started taking the B-12, it was the first thing I'd take in the morning upon waking, with a glass of water. It really made a difference for me and helped a lot. Hope you're feeling better soon.

See this site for a rundown of the tests that should be conducted (and why).
