Fat Loss Question

Hello everyone,

I have been dieting for almost a month now. I have lost a little fat and about 10 lbs. I lift weights 3-4 days a week and do cardio 4-5 days a week.
When I jump or jog, my whole body is real loose and jiggly. the fat around my stomach, sides, and chest freely move up and down like I have no density or muscle at all. It almost hurts as I move my body since the fat moves so much.
I lift weights and do cardio like I'm supposed to, and eat well with a 40 30 30 macronutrient ratio. So is this a normal experience while one is losing fat? Or am I doing something wrong?
Maybe this is just a normal fat loss process. I just want to make sure I'm on the right track and not waisting my time.

thank you ;o)

we can't give you a detailed answer unless you give us an exact replica of your diet. List what your daily meals look like. By the way, dieting is a slow process (If done correctly).

Ive gone throught the same thing you are. Ive lost and gained 3 lbs of fat a couple of times (in the process of losing it now). During the first 6-8 weeks in notice little fat loss in the stomach area, most comes off my back, legs, face, arms. But yes, I do notice that my stomach becomes looser and light, but the size dosent immeadiately drop. Ive been told that midsection fat is a different and more dangerous fat than anywhere else in the body, and it takes a longer time for the midsection fat cells to break down. ive found that this training program works best for me in not only fat loss, but hardening up that midsection:

3 full body circuits / MWF
(1 set of each bodypart (no abs) done in succession without rest, with a 3 minute rest before starting again)
I do 12-15 reps of each exercise, and follow this order:
squats, chest press, shoulder press, pulldowns, seated rows, leg extensions, tricep pushdowns, leg curls, bicep curls, shrugs and calf raises.
If i have the energy, i will do 12 mins of hiit training at the track.

3 abs circuits / TTS
(same idea as full body, but focus on abs)
12-15 reps, in folowing order:
Reverse crunches, side bends on 45% hyperextnesion bench, rotating hyperextensions, weighted swiss ball crunches, russian twists, and two point bridges)
I like to follow this workout with with a steady jog and stadium runs.

I tend to keep my calories at about 12 x my body weight when cutting, with a ratio of 50/ 25/ 25.

This diet has worked for me, in not only dropping fat, but retaining the most muscle possible.

I doing this program for third time, and am off to a good start. the other 2 times progress was excellent. Now if i could just keep it off, ill be doing ok.

good luck, man!

10 lbs in a month don't sound too bad. I used to weigh 280, and started dieting and lost ten lbs a month and now I'm 185, and it's slowed down quite a bit. That comes out to about 2.5 pounds a week, which is pretty good if you ask me.
