I really hate all lateral delt exercises, are these exercises done once a week enough for them, or is a lateral delt specific exercise neccesary for them, also the same thing for traps, cause I dont do shrugs either.

BB Flat Bench Press
DB One-arm Row
BB Military Press
Pull-up
BB Incline Bench Press
BB Yates Row
Cable Dips
BB Curls

I like doing DB lateral raises for the lateral(duh) delts. I hate shrugs though. I don't think you really need to do them unless you are a bodybuilder.

I don't do any form of isolation work for my lateral delts. I just let overhead pressing take care of business. My delts aren't amazing, but for my size they're pretty good.

I used to do DB lat raises, but ive stopped the last few weeks and just concentrated on the OH press, and if anything ive made some improvement.

IMO you don't realy need specific trap or delt work. Depends what you want of course. My traps get hit by doing cleans which are beneficial in many other ways. Delts get hit to some extent by pressing movements. I occasionally do something else for them, DB laterals, cable laterals, front raises, or whatever else you can dream up.

Hah, I love shrugs and hate raises!

Raises just suck all around. You gotta do light weight and look like a pussy. They take longer, especially when you do them unilaterally. And form is hard to maintain. To add to my list of crimes, Id have to honestly say Ive never noticed a bit of improvement from doing them. Even if I got sore repeatedly.

BUT. Ill still do them, since I get bored with other shit too sometimes.

well my goals are strength, so thank god I don't have to do any of that gay isolation lateral delt/trap work

I actually have noticed improvements in my lateral delts. It took me a few weeks to get the hang of them though.
