Hey everyone i'm new here but have read a lot of previous posts. I have a couple of questions i cant seem to figure out:
1) If you are in the bulking phase, do you want to be eating more or less calories than you use in the day? If you eat more than you're spending, how come that doesnt just lead to excess fat?
2) If you are on the cutting phase, do you still recommend the usage of protein shakes and creatine supplements? I know that you should be taking in less calories than you are using throughout the day, but do those supplements still help in either gaining or retaining muscle mass?
I'm pretty new at this and any help i could get would be great! Thanks

Well could you imagine bulking by eating less calories than you use in a day? If you eat good and workout you won't gain too much excess fat; learn how to managa your calories. Use protein if you workout, end of story. If bulking try 1.5-2 grams per lb. of body weight.

I work out every morning for like 2 hours from 7-9am. If im trying to lose fat, would using creatine powder and whey protein still have an affect on me even though im eating less calories than i use in a day?

Creatine is said to help spare muscle mass when cutting and protein powder is good to use during all times of the season.
