Alright all? I'm new to this but would be very grateful if you knowledgable guys could tell me where i'm going wrong.
Been training for about 4 months sticking to the below diet and training religiously. Thing is though, that can't seem to get rid of the belly.
I'm about 5'7 at 138lb with a BMI of about 22 & BF % of about 17 according to online calculators. Would like to cut BF to about 8 % ideally.
Per day:
Throughout day: 4 x protein shakes approx 100g protein (total) 450 kcal
Lunch 1:30 Dinner 1900: 4/ 5 x Fajitas (1 x tin baked beans, 2 x egg whites 2 x Peppers, Cup of Babycorn, Cup of sugar snap peas, 2 x Chillis) Approx 600 cal per meal (x 2 per day)
Breakfast: 1 x Bowl of Cerial (Wholgrain) with added protein powder & 100ml Soya milk Approx 300 Kcal
Daily total : approx 1500 to 2000
Maintanence: 2400
Gym
3 x per week (rest day in between sessions)
30 mins lifting concentrate on upper body (lower body already solid due to snowboarding)
30 mins cardio (approx 300 - 400 cals burned)
1 x per week 14 - 18 mile cycle
Supps: Vit E, Multivitamins, Folic Acid, Omega 3 , Norateen HW II.
I'm below maintanence on Cal intake, just can't figure out why not losing the weight. Muscles are firming up as I go for 90% of max weight on my reps (3 x 10) Hellllpppp!!!!!

Well if you are looking to cut fat, it looks like to me your carbs are pretty high. Try simple things like chicken breast and fish.

Cheers for input dude, nfortunately I'm a veg man, hence the protein powder!
Tried things like Quorn & Tofu but their quite expensive.
Possible that too much carbs are too blame then? Did cross my mind but i aint no expert for sure.
Crazy work hours don't help to much either as I end up workng between the hours of 415am and 2300! Varies every week too, which can be a f*****r.
Reckon the trainings enough, or should I up it?

Well what I gather from your post is you train with weights for 30 minutes and cardio directly after for 30 minutes. I like to split that up. I definitly like the fact you are hitting the weights no more than 3 days a week. But I like to go every other and in between hit the cardio so that you have more energy that way.
Oh I dont claim to be a diet expert, but there are some things I do know. I am definitly not a vegitarian expert. Maybe theres someone else here that is, but IMO protein powder can only take ya so far. I actually have a friend whos vegitarian only and he has put on some size, so best of luck to ya. Hopefully theres someone out there that can help you with the veggie thing.
