hi all,

Im after some the forum's views on testosterone supplements & increase in muscle mass.

Am not a newbie with weight training but i have started using testogel for about 3weeks. I generally apply a small amount of the gel as it affects my anxiety, etc. However, i have noticed that i am building muscle mass to an extent. Energy levels are high & my heart beat changes after the application. If higher amounts are taken, then within 1hr or so i break into a panic attack & must take 'xanax' to calm me down. The testicles disappear no matter what dosage i take.

I don't know if i have an unusual condition but why would small amounts of testosterone affect my anexity?

Would small amounts still increase muscle mass? I still feel tighteness & seem to gain in my lifting weight thresholds?

Would taking small amounts of testosterone each day build my levels or can the body remove the effects? I generally notice testies drop down after 3-4 hrs depending on the dosage.

I heard that testosterone is the pure form of anabolic steroids. If so, is it the ideal supplement for muscle building mass?

is their a breakin phase? do i need to slowly ramp up the dosage for a proper effect?

I would never use a gell, get the injectable form.

The gel works and it is commonly prescribed for HRT. I doubt you would be able to apply enough to get what you would if you injected.

Each 5gram satchel contains 50mg of testosterone. I only use one index finger full & it affects my heart rate & tighteness of the muscles. If i were to take the whole packet i would have a panic attack of big proportions. I wouldn't know if xanax would save me at a 50mg dose. By the way, i have heaps of 5gram satchels so increasing the dose would not be a problem.

50mgs Is nothing I think its all in your head if you get this from dipping your finger in a 50mg sachel when I cycle I use injections and I inject 500-1000mgs a week and I dont get any side effects other than a little water retention and muscle mass I do get a little anxiety at high doses but thats when I use really high doses

Wow if 50 mgs of test get to you, what does a few cups of coffee do to you? Blast off there's a nother roid user heading into orbit.

Of that 50mg probably half is getting in your system, that is about the going rate.

I think something is up with your head for it to affect you like that, I and most others here have used far more than you have and not had these side effects.

OR, perhaps you are alergic to something in the delivery system itself.

I thought years ago I would get sus flu... Only to find out the stuff I had was bogus. I read maybe too much about it. I'd say it's all in your head like mine, but, you said your testies shrink.. Maybe an alergic reaction. Why do you have the xanax, I noticed you said if you did a whole sack of cream it would take fifty xanax to calm you down. Xanax is a very potent benzodrine, how many, honestly, do you take a day? Alprozolam can really trip up your nervous system and could be the cause of your reaction. If you're over four mig's of xan a day it will have an effect. If you take twenty or thirty mgs of xanax it's a good indication it may be the culprit. Just a guess. How many do you take a day? I won't tell...lol.

Firstly, i never said i take 50 xanax.

Now i do take 1/2 to 1 full purple tablet which amounts to 1mg of alprazolam. I will admit to taking illect drugs in the past, & this seems to be the cause of my problem :-(

As the test feeds into my blood stream, i get a high which continues over throughout day making me nervous, especially after a hard workout.

Sorry, I must have read it wrong. I too had my day with rec drugs, like everything else, to extreme. I stopped short of iv drugs, but three day binges on cokeacola and three day drunks were at least an every other week escapade.
If I were in your shoes, I'd go get my blood work done. Amazing what information you can get from a simple cbc. I get mine done four times a year. They only cost about 30 bucks if ordered from lef.org, are semi private and can give you literally a thousand clues about your blood profile. It could be anything from Bun/Cratinine Raito to your Alkaline Phosphatase, etc. Don't worry, the report is put in laymans terms and are easily understood. You can even call a doc for free to discuss the results.
