I'd usually bake them or microwave them, but I can no longer stomach the taste..they just don't taste good to me and the flavor just isn't there

Are there any alternatives?

Did you try adding splenda or stevia and cinnamon to it?

I'm just wondering, are baked potatoes ok for you on a bulk? I have been eating those instead of sweet potatoes.

i'm on a cutting phase right now...5'9 161-163 (my weight fluctuations depending on my water intake for the day) at about 15% bodyfat...i wanna take that down to about 10%

and no i haven't tried cinnamon or (splenda or stevia: are these artificial sweetners?)...any other ways to prepare them besides baking/microwaving?

I add a little splenda and about a 1/4 cup of raisins. I do not care for cinnamon. I usually keep the portion size to under a cup and only on High Carb days. I sometimes will sneak in a little on Low Carb days thou. I also mash my sweet potatoe or yam with a fork to get it all mixed up with a consistant texture.

Try red potatoe, it's a slow burn carb as well and taste great with a little cheese.

i am also wondering the same thing..

baked potatoes are one of those foods where if you eat the everything including the skin, it isnt as "bad" as it would be if you only ate the inner part of it. Of course, if you wanted to eat the inner part only, eat it right after your workout for its high glycemic rating.
