Looks like a pretty decent setup to me. Good stuff. A little tip, find some Olympic adjustable dumbbells that can utilize Olympic plates so you have dumbbells that you can make as heavy as you want/need.

I completely agree with this - I find having a gym in the house helps with motivation in a big way.

I spent about £700 ($1300) a couple of years ago on equipment and I would have spent that much on Gym fees by now - so its basically free for me to train at home - which is great.

The gym pictured above looks very cool - I want a punchbag too!

I wish my house was bigger or had a garage so i can set up a training area for my boxing, etc.

I got this one for $199.99 around Christmas time and an Olympic weight set for $99.99, and I have old school 1" dumbbells that I still use. Not a bad deal:

I've been trying to find decent oly DBs that aren't a fortune. So far the only ones I've seen are about $80 for a pair. It's fatuous, I tell you! The other problem is that I would use them for farmers walks, and the 45s get in the way of my legs when I try to walk. Argh.

I bought mine at Sport's Authority at about $25 for the pair. I used to just stack on a buttload of 25s instead of using the 45s. I think I could get 3 a side on mine, which was 150 plus the 10 pounds or so that the DBs weighed.
