I don't know much about Accardo, but I hear he's a great young pitcher and some writers are surprised SF gave up such a good young arm for cast-off Hillenbrand.

Hillenbrand has always been a good ball player and there hasnt been to much said about him over his career. And he has one bad thing happen to him and all of a sudden hes a dick. i dont think so. Remember theres 2 sides to every story and there has to be more to it than that.

True enough. But living in the Toronto area, we hear alot more about the situation. The Managment are keeping quiet much like Hillenbrand should have.
There are lots of stories about his displeasure being here. Starting with writing on the Blackboard in the Dressing room. That this ship is sinking.
Greg Zaun was outspoken about trying to help Hillenbrand deal with his unhappiness and found it very inappropriate the way he handled it. I have no sympathy for a whiny bitch. He was a good ball player, but there is no player bigger then the team. And I agree with the team in the way they handled it.
