Some people say on various forms thats a weekly cheat meal (one meal out eatting whatever you want) like a burger, pizza, steak, etc...Have no effect on your diet. To me it seems the total opposite?

Lets say I have 3k cal a day. I have a cheat meal every friday, and I have a big ceaser salad, pizza, and a few garlic rolls. Lets say its an extra 1500 calories over the 3k for the day.

Now my daily totals for the week are basically 3200 instead of 3000. Isn't this significant, especially if you do it every single weekend?

Someone clue me in

Yep, extra 1400 a week. Depending on your maintenance levels, that's gonna cause a problem.

I dont think it's really that great idea to have a weekly schedualed meal where you say, "I'm just gonna pig out this meal and the rest of the week I eat clean". I think it's best to just eat a pizza, have that soda, or eat that candy when you really want it, and just enough to keep you satisfied, nothing more, nothing less.

Also if you go a long time withought junk food you don't crave it as much as you'd use to- if at all. Your use to eating so healhty that all that processed stuff doesnt work well in your system anymore. From personal experiece, I use to eat doritos and junk food all the time. Last week I at a small pack of doritos after a VERY long time and I felt really dehyrdated and not so good.

I have 2 cheat meals a week. And I am still leaning out nicely. Just gotta crunch the numbers.
