This day would not be as sad as the day he dies in the ring or suffers permanent brain damage. I am an Arturo Gatti fan, but personally, I think retirement at 34 may be a good idea for him. All that accumulated punishment from brawling can't be good. I think his ability to take a punch isn't what it used to be either. And something always happens to his hands during his fights.
