Gatti bullied for 9 rounds. TKO for Baldomir who was very impressive. Gatti in his post fight interview said that he is considering retirement . That will be a sad day in boxing. I hope he comes back for one more and goes out with a win.

This day would not be as sad as the day he dies in the ring or suffers permanent brain damage. I am an Arturo Gatti fan, but personally, I think retirement at 34 may be a good idea for him. All that accumulated punishment from brawling can't be good. I think his ability to take a punch isn't what it used to be either. And something always happens to his hands during his fights.

Obviously I know that. I'm saying it will just be a shitty day seeing one of the most exciting boxers hang em up. Just like no one wanted to see Michael Jordan retire. He's a people's champ and has been in some of the most legendary fights. I'd like to see him in top form and go out with one more win.
