Anyone into lacrosse?

I played jv this year after just fucking around with the stick for a bit.. it was pretty fun and I can't wait to do camps and shit throughout the end of the summer - winter and hope to make varsity next year

but yeah any other lax players on here?

it's an extremely fun game. it's kind of a cross between hockey and soccer. i grew up playing soccer and hockey. then i went to connecticut and i played two years of it in high school. haven't touched a lacrosse stick since.

I'm not sure how anyone can play it? Sometimes I see guys hit other guys with the sticks in the legs. If some guy hit me in the legs with one of those I'd be all over him. Doesn't make sense, but if you enjoy it, have fun.

yeah, there's contact but the contact go both ways and it, the contact, has rules. nowhere in the game of lax can someone arbitrarily whack someone else in the legs with his/her stick... you're the one not making sense.

yeah just as in soccer and hockey theres rules for the contact..theres no crosschecking and no you cannot whack people in the legs..

but yeah i love the game, i was just watching an mll game on last night and it made me really miss the sport

problem is the camps and stuff arent for a while and in the meantime no one really wants to play pickup and shit

it sucks

It is a real east coast sport....New York (long island), Conn., Maryland, MASS..it is pretty big in texas now from what I hear.

Growing up in Cleveland we didn't have lacrosse but I wish we did. I think it is an amazing sport. You really have to be an athlete to play. I think it is awesome.

Tis our national sport.... of course I have played. Didn't play much though... Cause baseball was my sport.

But in Canada we play what you would call box lacrosse. We play in the Hockey arena in the summer. Alot more aggressive of a game.

yeah I know the goalies have to use bigger pads because the shots are being ripped so hard..but yeah I would really like to look into box
