I really dont get it. Why would a magazine like FLEX post a workout where they do a body part like chest for 20 sets?

because that is what people want to see.

that is what makes money.

that is what the people that ghost write the articles feel is important to push on the reading public.

and that is how those in the IFBB train.

And getting their readers good results is not in their best interests because then they won't buy so many damned supplements to try and make up for their shitty programs and diets.

That to me is the worst part. You get young kids reading that garbage telling them they need 50 supplements or they will not grow, wich is such bullshit. Good nutrition does not come in a can. Real food from a good source is the real deal. There are so many reasons why kids should not get sucked into buying those brain dead rags. I say save your money and buy a gym pass and a library card. There is good info out there you just have to search a bit.

They do it because if you're on all the sauce like those pro's, you should probably do closer to 20 sets. If you're not... well, why are you reading Flex, anyway?

lawl, it is funny how much BS routines they come up with. I am sure they just need fillers so they come up with random ideas and probably laugh their asses off in the process.

Tuna isn't exactly healthy by itself. It's lacking the EFA's of fresh tuna, and has high levels of mercury. And it's very high in sodium.

I can answer that question indefinitely

They are doing steroids.

What you see in the magz is for the most part, not even what they do.

I've learned just about everything I know about the sport and the lifestyle from mags. I love to seeing the pros routines. Guess I'm the only one who believes they follow them... I know I wouldn't let some pencil neck write my routine!

Double D. If they didn't post workouts, would you even buy a mag. The only other thing in there is advertisements for this and that.

Eh.

Not that I can say that most of the magazines out of FULL of shit, I do get some ideas from them. As long as youre an experienced reader, you can sipher through the levels of nonsense. Every so often, I come across a new or forgotten workout. Instead of looking at their program, I just implement the exercise into MY program. Shit, it was MuscleMag that had an article on grip strength workouts that I was interested in. I hate MuscleMag too. Too many fucking MuscleTech ads (gee I wonder why).

FLEX is prolly the most un-read for me.
