How much does 70 grams of Dex equal ?? would it be about a regular spoon you eat with or is it more or less ?????????

You would need a scale to weigh it. Also 70 grams of dextrose equals 70 grams of carbs. I prefer Maltrodextrin.

I'll let you in on a secret. If you really have intentions of bodybuilding which 80% of it is diet / nutrition, your going to need a food scale. Without one your spinning your wheels. JMO

I guess he prefers maltodextrin, because is not as sweet as dextrose and it gives your shakes a thicker consistency.
Depending on the brand, but usually one scoop (the same one you use with you protein powder, 75cc) is equal to 50g of dextrose.

Have you guys read about Waxy Maize starch yet? I picked up a little info on it a short time ago, and have been using the carbohydrate source PWO for some time now. Not much debate on it yet, but I believe there is one thread introducing it to the board. GoPro? I want to say that was the member who started the thread.
From experience - it is a light texture that mixes readily and effectively. Supposedly increases glycogen uptake 70 percent faster than dextrose.

Can you but maltodextrin at a regular store or do you have to go to a spelicity store to get it ?

Food scales are fairly cheap but get a good one because it's competely worth it. Don't get a plastic scale, stainless are much easier to clean....especially if you are constantly weighing raw meats. Even the digital ones are like 30 bucks or so. Well worth the investment. A better investment than most supps

With the Dextrose that I get, 1 1/4 tsp is 4g of dextrose.

I buy mine at a Self-Brew supply store. $6 a Kilo. They also call it "Bru-Body".
I buy Dextrose there too. $4 a kilo.
