I heard that some people stay days without eating, how is it possible?

If it is true, can they do things like work or read?

they're sick bastards thats why they do it.

i read to get in shape for the Machinist, that actor dude w/e his name is ate an apple and a cup of coffee for a month straight. thats some crazy shit.

on a more realistic and serious note though, people don't really drag it out too long unless you get those tree hugging hippies who go on long fasts to cleanse themselves. most people probably won't go longer than a day or two and in that time they are allowed certain, limited amounts of food ie tbsn of honey in the morning or something.

I really dont know how they do it. You see those people protesting but they keep protesting laying down, sitting in the floor looking to those damn trees. When I dont eat for a long time, I cant read or study. An apple a day? I would die in a week, well not die but probably get really sick.
