Best bet is to buy lean cuts regardless of what beef your eating. Lean or extra lean ground beef for example.

Posted by: fufu

I get the organic kind.

Posted by: Ironandsteel

I don't know much on organic. Is that considered lean or extra lean

Get grass fed free-range beef

You must be joking, oh you must be joking. Can you buy the type of beef based on the type of food it eats?

Yes, there is actually a logic to it though, which I don't want to explain because I am going to bed. hehe

Burgers are low in fat if ya get sirloin. Just read the label in the store. Market is very greasy and much higher in fat.

I do burgers cause theyre 1/4 the $ of steak.

Free range??? lol who cares.

Sausage actucally has 20g of protein per link where i shop but 20g's of fat too

I know, the way they prepare that expensive beef made in japan is awesome.

Good night fufu. Die.

whatever the type... lean or extra lean. That's all I know on the subject. And no I didn't just reseach that it's just fact. less sat fat.

Posted by: Diablo1990

The thing is I have googled it and have seen some bad things about it, do you think I will be find and just worrying to much?

I've seen that most people here take diet and nutrion rather laxadasial; I do not so I will reiterate what I've already said. You need not worry but the healthiest alternative is to buy lean Ground Beef or better yet extra lean Ground Beef.

If I stir fry ground beef or chicken is that bad or it's ok?

Posted by: IainDaniel

It is fine depending on the oil you use.

Posted by: Diablo1990

Olive Oil

Posted by: DOMS

Just remember that all oil is fat. Just make sure it fits into your dietary needs.

If you have a Trader Joe's around, they sell 96% lean ground beef

I am stepping in the health thing a little at a time. Each week I add a few more things to my menu, Add a couple more to my breakfast menu. Etc. You go with what you know, then add to it as you learn. I like beef! Start with lean beef and work from there.
