Pride is a little better imo. However the UFC has the single best weight class in the world at 170lbs...

I know they made more money at one time, but the UFC is on the rise. Who knows... I honestly believe the UFC's 170lb class is the best in the world. Probably followed by Pride's 205lb. class.

Nope Hughes is a welter weight (155-170). Middle weight is Rich Franklin, Loisseau, Swick, ect. (170-185)

I love how BJ Penn has to gain weight to come up from his normal 155 to 170ish to fight hughes, while hughes cuts from 185-190 down to 170ish.

No they would not. I've seen a lot of UFC fights and I've seen a lot of Pride fights. UFC has a lot more better fighters than Pride. Some of the competition that Pride's champs go up against are weak ass hell.
