Super Bowl picks!

Football season starts tonight. HOORAY!

Anyone care to make a prediction on the Super Bowl teams?

I'm going with Cincinnati and the NY Giants.

No one really jumps out at me in the NFC, and I'm not buying all the hype surrouding the Panthers.

And if you BLINDLY pick your favorite team just because you're a fan, you should be kicked in the nutsack (I guess that disqualifies Dale and RD from this thread ).

Yeah I hate to admit but I think the Giants will represent the NFC

AFC is a tougher choice. As much as they choke every year, prolly Indy.

I say the NFC east has the toughest division. Either Dallas or NYG. Who knows maybe even the EAGLES! I wish. I would like to see Cinnci go but I don't think they will. Indy is def do. Its really hard to say. I will get back to yuh on this.

I'm gonna disagree.

Dallas will fall apart, and Eli still has yet to prove he can be an effective leader. Washington will pull it together late enough to make a playoff run. The Eagles improved their defense alot and are finally healthy on offense, and I honestly see them taking the division.

NFC East = Most Overrated Division
Philadelphia Eagles = Most underrated team in the NFC

That being said I like Cincy in the AFC if Palmer stays healthy, and the Bears in the NFC if they can get their QB problems sorted out. The Bears have some weapons on offense, they just need to put a plan into action with them.

Eli must own.

Eli will be great one day, hell hes good now. But still very young.

Well my team is the Rams, and their better days are behind them! I never rule out the Pats. But Indy will be strong again, as well as the Steelers.

I'm going Steelers.

Patriots vs. Panthers...repeat of 2004. Pats win obviously.

Panthers and Indy, Indy takes it.

GO COLTS!

It won't be quite as easy without James... Not that it would ever be easy.

COWBOYS

Cowboys vs. Steelers
Cowboys win

Steelers vs. seahawks volume two. Steelers always impress me with their defense and their showing with a backup qb was pretty good. NFC has been subpar for awhile but I think the seahawks can repeat their last year records.

It's so early to really tell, but i think the Seahawks are damn near a lock, Giants look strong but like previously stated, Eli might need another year to really pinpoint his talent. I'm a diehard Philly fan, i would love to say they're going all the way but i'd be reaching. I think the Eagles will do a hell of a lot better than last year. Playoff's for sure! Cincinatti Bengals or the colts will be the afc's top teams. Fuck the steelers. (sorry, it's a PA thing)

Colts ain't doing it this year either...

Ravens, SON!

Posted by: Double D

They looked very good today. With the addition of the new QB they might be tough to beat. 27-0 today over the Bucs.

Bunch of homos...

I think they have just as good a shot as last year. Even without Edge.

Denver v. Carolina

I am actually glad that Green Bay lost to Chicago. Now we can put to bed all that talk about "undefeated season" and concentrate on winning the Superbowl.

I hope so, but yesterday didn't look too good... They were playing a good D team at home however. They still can't stop the run either.

The Colt's got dominated on the line, on both sides of the ball. That's not like last years team.

Eagles vs. Bengals

I love looking back on threads like these!

Yea, Dyl seems like the only one to be remotely correct.
