I stopped working out almost 2 full years ago, and now I want to get back to it. I'm 5'10" and when I was working out I was 175, now I'm down to around 155. The muscle mass is pretty much gone, and a little flab has takin its place. How do you all suggest I get back into it? Should I start with trying to get the muscle back fast by doing high weight low reps, go with the high reps and low weight, or what? Any suggestions would be great.

2) you need to start out with a general conditioning and base building phase of lifting before jumping into higher intensities. You need to prepare tendons and ligaments, increase work capacity and re-learn movement patterns.
