Last night I was checking out Bodybuilding.com's forum board. The people on there seem pretty serious and quick to turn on each other. I like this site better, but was wondering if BB.com is a good site to pic up info. Are the people objective there. Looking at the supplement threads, same question. Would the site push certian products just because they sell those products on the site?

Posted by: kuso

The members push ONE and awful lot, but it doesn`t sell it so I doubt it. BUT I would NEVER EVER EVER buy from there again......bunch of scamming assholes if you ask me.

Posted by: Prince

I joined there awhile back, but did not care for their forums, so I agree it's much better here!

I have placed a few orders with bb.com and have not had any bad experience. They get my product to me in less than 4 days.

Posted by: Blade

I joined bb.com and i dont really like the foeums that much the most of the people in them are just on there to talk about other people and not give much help. I do think they have good articles and you can get some good info from it.

Posted by: maxxlina

This forum is better. I like it here.

Dude...I think you`ve been lucky so far....I know many people that haven`t been so lucky.

I myself had to threaten legal action to get my order ....that took around three months to get here when I pain for it to be here within 2 weeks.

Posted by: BPB

I've also heard more bad than good about them

Posted by: Blade

Ive ordered alot of things from them and have never had a problem with my orders. they usually come in 2 days.

Posted by: kuso

Once again...all I can say is ________________________ lucky

Posted by: Xeldrine

Unless it's a company you trust than don't use supplements just because a site recommends you to or sells them. Be smart and decide..

Posted by: pumpthatiron

is it ok to get info from there tho?

Posted by: Du

Theres a lot of good info there. Remember though, just about anyone can submit an article, so just keep that in mind. Look for citations, and read a lot of different articles.

Ive also ordered from there many times, probably at least 25 or so orders. Never, ever had a problem.

Guys, I'm somewhat baffled after reading this thread. I'm a newbie here, however, I am a member of BB.com. A few things I want to address:

1) kuso: Did the Cyberstore scam you or a member? If so, who? I have dealt with the Cyberstore quite a bit and never had a problem. Did you contact Ryan DeLuca about your problem or any of the moderators?

2) Most of the people in the forum are very cool to deal with. Every so often, when a troll wonders by, stuff happens. It is very easy to get on anyones bad side considering the access, and ease of finding the site. Everyone I have dealt with has been great (with a handful of bad apples).

3) I too like other forums. Sometimes, it can get veryyyyy mundane (err, tedious) reading the same threads over and over. If you can by-pass all the 'rookie' questions and read the posts by outstanding members, hopefully, some of your opinions will change.

Anyway, that is all. I fell across this board and so far, have been very impressed. Keep up the good work mods

There's a hell of a lot of information on BB.com and it's great for that. God help you if you post on the board and they don't like it - you get the s**t ripped out of you!

It is not my intention whatsoever to run any site "down" - that happens by their own design... That Board certainly is not an open-minded site. Nor does it "allow objectivity". Bigotry and hatred run rampant on that site. Why they even mention the words "discuss", "discussion", "forum" - it is certainly not that by definition unless what you say is something "they agree with". Objectivity about a subject is not really allowed on the "Sex" section for example. Unless you are perpetuating the inaccuracies, incorrectness, incompleteness, dishonesty, hatred, bigotry and outright lying of the past and even the present with regard to Sex you certainly seem to be not allowed on their site. I have tried to have open honest complete discussion on that Board but that does not seem to be possible there. It is a site that could be very good and constructive and helpful. This site, www.ironmagazine.com is far superior and truly welcomes others to discuss.

Hi Du,

I was on that site to DISCUSS all aspects of Sexuality: Heterosexuality, BiSexuality and Homosexuality - ALL very natural aspects of life and living and I talked about other topics as well.

Take Care, John H.

Hi Sawastea,

That could be. I was never told as one Man would say to another Man what they "thought" was a "problem" and what "was allowed" or "not" (where they "thought" I was "crossing their line"). They provide a site for the discussion of Sex "supposedly" and then tell people they can not really talk about that subject unless it is something "they" agree with. One thing I noticed about that site is that there really is no "discussion" unless it is ONLY Heterosexual - a person can say ANYTHING on that site that is Heterosexual (and it can get pretty graphic which is fine I have absolutely not problem with that at all but is limiting and biased) but not other aspects of Sexuality. Doing that completely ignores the FACTS and the full spectrum of Sexuality. The hatred and the bigotry that exists there even from some of the moderators shows a real lack of any understanding and fact with regard to the subject and the tunnel vision of some. Strange how people who profess to be adults can not DISCUSS as a mature adult the subject of Sexuality which is multi-faceted. It is interesting there are people who would have others believe they are adults that are mature that can not speak about the most basic of subjects in life - Sexuality - truthfully, accurately, completely, thoroughly, and honestly. It is interesting how some who would have others believe they are mature adults are actually fearful - afraid - of discussing the most basic aspects of life itself. The FACTS of Sexuality can never be changed because those FACTS are AS INTENDED by Our Creator. A person who truly IS an adult that is mature will always welcome open, objective, honest, discussion because they UNDERSTAND that TO UNDERSTAND is through discussion that IS OPEN MINDED, OBJECTIVE, etc.

If an adult can not discuss Sexuality in all its aspects which is the only way to truly understand then who can? Who has "the right" to speak about that subject if adults can not?

I posted a site I thought was very good and very helpful to those that are truly interested in being their very best through Bodybuilding and Weightlifting - www.repetrope.com - and was slammed even for that. I wrote discussing the importance of being your very best honestly so and completely so... I wrote people should honestly care about each other - regardless of Gender - not using and/or abusing others for their own gain...

I posted a site which is very helpful and important to the understanding of Sexuality: www.indiana.edu/~kinsey
It is the site of Indiana University's (at Bloomington, Indiana) Alfred C. Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender and Reproduction, a world renown institution which has done ground-breaking research, a place where people can truly learn and understand about the most basic of subjects of Humanity. It was censored from that Board.

I am an adult who is mature and willing to talk about anything objectively and with an open mind - that is the only true way to understand and learn anything.

Take Care, John H.

I've ordered from them a dozen times, and they always send me free stuff. Takes about 4-5days to get to me

We understand that John. Youve made that oh-so-clear. However, this is a bodybuilding forum. That is its main purpose. Same with bb.com. It seems all you ever, ever want to talk about is sexuality. How do you not see this?

Posted by: topolo

This forum is better because we have such a great forum administrator!!!!!!!!

Go Rob!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BB.com is a bunch of anal morons; www.ironmagazine.com is much better!!!

Posted by: min0 lee

I think this site has more of a personality than other most other forums do.
It's both funny yet you really can learn stuff from members here.
You can relate to most of the characters here both good and bad. I think the mods do a great job here, if it does get out of hand they do put a stop to things yet but they also allow people to express themselves and voice their opinions.

Posted by: min0 lee

This place sort of reminds me of M*A*S*H*...lets see Hotlipps could be____ ,

Frank Burns is definetly Johnnny and Klinger here is _____ ?

Bodybuilding.com is a great resource with A LOT of info, and they have a huge selection of products. I do find many products on BB.com to be slightly higher than BN.com though.

How did this thread turn to the discussion of anuses and going in through the out door?

And vice versa.

Posted by: Egoatdoor

I'm a member of both forums. Each has pros and cons.

I've ordered from BB.com and never had any problems. The site has much more variety of forums, bodybuilding related and non bodybuilding, if that is what you want. The questions, particularly of the "how's my workout routine", can become repetitive after a while and there are too many teenagers on that site. I think some women are much more comfortable there because they have their own forum.

This site is very good and its forums stick to bodybuilding. But just as at BB.com, there are some a**h*l* who post here and I do find too many instances where threads get hijacked and one or two people then proceed to endlessly hurl personal abuse back and forth at one another. Unless I'm missing something, I do not find a "report the post" to a moderator function here as there is at BB.com so that things like this can be reported.

Posted by: musclepump

I've ordered from bodybuilding.com quite a few times--great service. It's odd that when I e-mail for support I never get a response, but something gets done. It's frustrating in a good way. I ordered two different things but didn't get the free straps I was supposed to get, so I sent an e-mail and then I got an e-mail a couple hours later saying my straps had shipped. No response other than that, but it worked out.

I've never checked their forums and I don't really want or need to; this place has all the info I need!

E, look to the bottom left of a post next to where it says if they're online or not (green or red dot). Next to it is the "Report..." button
