Personally I think he has better hands. This has to do with his sambo. His stability is so superior, he is never off balance. This means he can keep switching angels and throwing bombs. Crocop is a more technical striker and has not been as agressive as Fedor. If he were more agressive I'd say they were even with their hands. That being said, CroCop's legs are his bread and butter, and can out kick Fedor. Fedor does have some nasty side shattering kicks though.

I agree with you on everything except stand-up. You couldn't be more right in saying Cro Cop is more technical. His punches are crisp as well as strong. His legs give him a clear cut edge imo... He does need to be a lot more aggressive however. All of the most dominate and feared fighters always have been. Even the purely ground guys...

Just watch their fight. Fedor had ring control. If you are going to be a superior striker, you control the ring. Cro Cop was not controling the ring... but like I said, they are even strikers.
Fedor has the unpredictability factor. This gives him an advantage. |
, but his punches remind me somewhat of Chuck Liddell's. Hard, but loopy and a bit wild at times. He should do some training with Tyson...

I think it's due to his aggressiveness more so than superior striking. I know you'll hate this, so I'm going to say it

I agree, but I don't think his punches are like Chuck Lidells.
He outstruck the undefeated K1 champion, world class kickboxer, goodman. |
