Hey guys.
Theoretically speaking if i was at 205 pounds (93 kilos) at 10%bf would it be hard for me get to 185 pounds (83 kilograms) at the same amount of bf (10%) Would it involve alot of muscle loss and excessive cardio ?? Is it dangerous ? Reason being is if i feel that 205 pounds is too much for me i can drop weight and fight pro at 185. Cheers |

Is your weigh in the night before?
Funny enough, I was talking to Dan Burzotta (sighs) about this the other night, cause both MMA and BBer dehydrate but for different purposes. DAMN you just gave me an excuse to call him. Well then, just do what the other fighters do, sauna suits in the sauna room, sweat it out, don't drink for the day before for the weigh in. You can lose stacks of water. Not really healthy, but hey, if you are young and fit. It might make you feel seriously weak and sick as a D.O.G. THEN after weigh in you start drinking and eating like a P.I.G to get your strength back up. He also told me that Rich Franklin walks around at 205 lbs and does this the day before to get to 185 lbs. Fights at 205 though. It is easier for bigger guys to lose more weight than smaller guys from water weight. Hope this helps x x x T |

Best way to get knocked out is to drop 15-20lbs of water before a fight.
