Good read, love the part where he talks about newbes gaining 20lbs in 3 months and thinking it's muscle.

Yep....I figure I'll be maintenance bulking for the next couple of years
'cuz cutting suxs. This follows that logic nicely: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/core3.htm |

Yeah that always pisses me off. Somebody's braggin about how much "muscle" they gained and you're like "u juicin?" ....."hell no"...."then it's not all muscle"....."course it is"....."that's not possible"..."well I did it"....
I hate this article...it hurts...I have a pretty decent metabolism...so I start trying to gain weight...eating like mad it still comes relatively slow...pound here...two pounds last week...boom, I'm fat. SHIT. |

"However, the average trainee wants to look good all year long. What if you meet a girl while you're bulked up? 'Not with the lights on, honey. I'm bulking.'"

My take of the article was a person can only gain about 4-6lbs LBM every 3 months or so.....The fact is that is only for beginners. After the first year most of us are lucky to gain 8-10lbs a year naturally LBM.

I usually make increases and decreases in caloric intake in 5% increments. It has worked well for me thus far.

that's just 200 for every 4000 cals .... so do you gain lbm while doing this?? and if you do , is it accompanied by fat gain?? i think that's less than 3/2 lb monthly...
