Disagree with you man. Sorry. If there was no such thing as TO this game wouldn't mean as much by a long shot.

Posted by: Dale Mabry

Decent game, not the best. I think the one where they choked the game away in the last quarter against the Giants was better, and the NO win over Atlanta was also a better game.

Posted by: Bazooka Tooth

It was a good game, but not nearly as entertaining as I expected.

The Philly fans seemed soft, I didnt hear any T.O. chants or anything....Nothing thrown at him...not shit, T.O. had a cakewalk in and probably out of the arena....

Posted by: Goodfella9783

I heard people were throwin pills on the field. Haha. That's actually pretty good.

I didnt hear or see that, that is good then

I wish they would have televised more, assuming there was...

All I know is I'm excited, and fuck all of you that simply wanted the Cowboys to win to "shut the Eagles fans up." Eagles are the real deal with multiple weapons and a much improved defense. The Giants game was a fluke. As for TO, he was a non factor, and a scared bitch, dropping 3 passes he would normally catch. He made no effort to defend that deflected ball that Dawkins intercepted. He's worthess and I hope the Cowboys fans are happy with him. Hopefully next time they let him die.

Drew Beldsoe is SO FUCKING BAD. He handed that game to Philly.

No, 7 sacks and up the middle blitzes handed the game to Philly. He couldn't handle the pressure. Not many can...

Posted by: I Are Baboon

He threw two HORRIBLE interceptions with no presure on him. And that sack he took on the final drive was terrible..he held onto the ball for WAY too long. He had plenty of time to get rid of it, but he took the 12 yard loss instead. Inexcusable.

He threw 1, and that was the last one, the other 2 int's he threw were deflected balls.

It's called good coverage, he had nobody to throw to, so he took a sack.

Maybe I saw it wrong, but the one INT that was just an underthrown bomb just looked like a shitty pass. And that sack was just awful...AWFUL. You do NOT take a 12 yard loss inside the two minute warning. He had plenty of time to chuck the ball to the sidelines but he took the sack, which means the team loses 12 yards, a down, and the clock continues to run. Poor, poor performance on Beldsoe's part. Then again, he's never been an expert of the two minute drill, so what can you expect?

Posted by: I Are Baboon

BTW, for the record I am glad Philly stomped Dallas. Too bad it wasn't more of a blowout though.

Ditto.

Bledsloe is a horrible QB, any pressure and he is fucked.

Good for Philly. I fucking hate TO

I Agree 100%. Philly is lookin better and better....the Giants game almost gave me a stroke though. I really hope that was a fluke.

Yep I blame that loss mostly on Bledsoe. He sat in the pocket for like 10 seconds and just took the sack with no attempt to get out and get rid of the ball. Then he got sacked the next play, not neccesarily his fault. They get a gift with a chance to tie after that PI call. He throws a pick on 2nd and Goal. No where near the receiver. Just horrible. They tried to force the ball to TO on too many occasions, that's why his thrown to/reception % was bad.

I don't expect to go far again this year. They're like the Bills or the Braves of Baseball lately. The only reason they made it to the superbowl 2 years ago was TO. And TO (and the Eagles D) is the only reason they actually had a chance in the Superbowl by stepping up off his injury. Donovan is a just a plain choke artist.

Just ignorant. TO Didn't even play in the playoffs, or the last few games of the regular season, so how he was the only reason they made the Super Bowl is beyond me... Not to mention Donovan has never posted better numbers than this year. Eagles have the number one offense in the league WITHOUT TO. You are just a biased Philly hater. Shame on you.

Whatever. It's not just a coincidence they go so far the first year they get him. Why do you think the Eagles hate him so much. Clearly because they lost the best receiver in the league. Think they'd do this to Greg Lewis? We saw what happened to the Eagles immediately after the loss of TO last year They were a joke. And I'm almost positive they'll amount to nothing this year as well. And I'm not a Philly hater. I pity them. I am a Pats fan. And the Eagles ruined Super Bowl Sunday for me in 2004. I like to watch competitive Superbowls against my Pats. Rams and Panthers provided that. Eagles didn't belong there. Thanks to TO, there was a little offense.

What a load of shit. The Eagles didn't get to the Super Bowl because of TO, let's get that straight. They got to the Super Bowl because the rest of the NFC sucked ass. You think the Falcons would have been a better matchup?? I sure don't. The NFC was weak as hell that year, just like most years. And keep talking shit about the Eagles please, you're bound to jinx your team and help the Eagles out.

And what happened to the Eagles after the loss of TO? About half of their starters were injured. So before you run your mouth get your facts straight. Donovan got injured in the very first game of the season last year, it's pretty obvious what a healthy Donovan can do. #1 offense in football, enough said.

So let the games begin in Dallas. TO crying on national TV yesterday was enough to make the whole season worth while.

Again, not just a coincidence that they start to suck the moment they lose TO. They don't have the ability to overcome injuries like the Pats do. The Eagles are a joke and always have been. That's get that straight too while we're setting things straight. And I don't believe in jinxes. I don't rely on superstitions like Eagles fans I guess.

I love how Brady played the whole season with the same injury that Donovan punked out with like a little bitch and sat on the bench. Brady is a real warrior thus the reason the Pats are a Dynasty .

Stay on TO's dick though, really. It's media like you that he feeds off of and either dominates the NFL or pulls some shit and cops out for a while. That's exactly what he wants. Everyone to hate him or love him but talk about him all the time.

How does Brady's cock taste? Better than TO's?

Nobody is doubting how good "your pat's" are. Brady is not a mobile quaterback, he's made that perfectly obvious over the last few years. Donovans whole game, and Philly's whole offense rely on his mobility, and the ability to sell the play action fake, which is pretty difficult to do with the degree of the injury that Donovan had.

And I didn't realize I was a member of the media, I'll have to get my press credentials so I can get on the field next game.

And I guess a 4-1 record and the #1 offense in the league is because of TO as well?

Bottom line is: You hate Philly, and your opinions are biased.
TO is a shithead and the whole world saw it yesterday.

1. Who says I'm on TO's dick? I just said he's one of the best receivers in the league which he is. Question his talent to any expert or scout. I'm the one saying that this game wasn't about just him. This isn't a fuckin soap opera kid. Fuck what he does off the field. I'm in it to see good players perform on the field. What they do off the field I could give 2 shits about. TO will do his thing eventually. Whether it's put up huge numbers or not play. The media will be dick riding until he retires.

2. I knew you'd misundertsand that. My bad. I meant media who like have the same mindset you do. That just keep talking about TO like this one game was all about him. That's not good for football.

3. No it isn't. But that's not what I'm saying. Obviously the Eagles have adapted since then. It was a long time ago. I was saying it wasn't a coincidence that as soon as they get TO, they go to the Superbowl. As soon as he's gone. They go nowhere. Can't deny it no matter what.

I have no idea how you can say they have multiple weapons, they have no running game. They won't get out of the second round of the playoffs without one, assuming they are the number 2 seed. I like the way the defense is playing with so many injuries, though. They do typically get a late start in stopping people, which could be a problem without a running game.

I don't think Brady's injury was as severe as McNabb's, though. It would also have less of an impact on a pocket passer than a scrambler, although Mcnabb has tried to be less of a scrambler which, IMO is wrong.

Posted by: Goodfella9783

True. Westbrrook needs to get healthy. IMO, he's had more of an impact on the receiving end than as a RB. They're going to need more than Westbrook, McNabb & Stallworth to make a run in the playoffs.

Posted by: zombul

It was a good game but TO was really obsolete in this game.WHY?

This was actually the first week they weren't able to run the ball effectively. They have a core of recievers that are all equals, and most of them have been in the system for many years now, and you're right, McNabb needs to move more.

Because when a team makes a gameplan around him, he's ineffective. He's not even the best reciever on his own team.

They did a horrible job last week against a shitty Packers team trying to develop a running game.

They have yet to run the ball effectively. By effectively, I mean that they are able to run the ball to run out the clock with the lead in the second half. That is the single reason they couldn't put away the giants.

Look who they have played...

Green Bay
Giants
San Fran
Houston
Cowboys

With that line up, they should lead the league in rushing. This was their only bad week rushing, but it was also their only week playing a better than below average defense.

Without their starter Westbrook.... And they still put up decent numbers, at least better than previous years...

They shouldn't be able to run the ball at all, I mean lets be realistic. In no way is Westbrook a traditional RB. He can't run between the tackles to save his life, in fact I was pissed when they re-signed him. We all know Andy Reid wants to pass the ball 70% of the time, so in that reguard, yes, they are running the ball effectively.

And there was no single reason they lost to the Giants. Injuries to the secondary and a few blown assignments allowed the Giants back in that game.

I don't know about that.

He has 10,767 career receiving yards (more than Marvin Harrison, Shannon Sharpe; Andre Rison, Jimmy Smith, Isaac Bruce -- all future hall of famers); 102 Td's; 733 receptions; 505 first downs; averages 73.7 YPG; holds the record for most receptions in one game (20);

And it's his off field antics and sideline attitude that will probably prevent him from being a 1st balloter, like his buddy Michael Irvin.

I'm not saying he's no good, but he has proven time and time again that he causes more problems than he's worth. Until he gets a ring around his finger, and stops burning bridges everywhere he goes, he's a piece of shit in my book.

Posted by: Dale Mabry

Michael Irvin got busted for coke, TO will be a first balloter, IMO.

Posted by: themamasan

I'm a Cowboys fan and I hate TO. I have seen only 3 games this year and I have seen him drop 7 passes (catchable passes). Most average recievers can go a whole season without that many drops.

As far as Bledsoe, I think he took that sack because they must have changed the rules this year about intentional grounding. He got one called on him on the first or second drive of the game where he was under no pressure and decided to throw it out of bounds. But then the refs decided to throw a flag a minute later. ANd his the last two interceptions were due to the fact he made shitty throws.

Posted by: god hand

I dont understand how u dont not go DEEP to TO at least once in the game. If I learned anything Its Bill Parcells is when it comes to play calling.

Posted by: JerseyDevil

Despite the fact I can practically see the Linc from my house just across the Delaware In Southern NJ, I'm not really an Eagles fan. I do tend to support the team however.

My observations are, if anyone cares..... Owens IS a great WR. Although he is a trouble maker on the field and a disruption to his team, at least he isn't getting cited for criminal offenses like a Michael Irvin or Randy Moss. That said... what a whiney bitch on the sideline! Can't believe no one has brought that up. Give it time. He eventually WILL be making comments to the press about Bledsloe, and when Romo tanks, it'll be even worse. Kind of shame really. A wide out with that much talent will more then likely have a NFL epitaph of "The 10 Million Dollar Mistake" .

Posted by: Double D

At the end of last year I said "I would take TO on my team". Now I wouldnt take him if he was gave to me. He is a cancer to a team. he does nothing, but dig deep into the heart of the team and tear it apart. And in the meantime he makes the whole atmosphere that comes with him into a circus!

Yeah I thought 2 of them were batted at, I was thinking about the one that Lito Sheppard dropped. Bledsoe sucks.

Yeah, 3 injuries to the Eagles secondary... Giants should be proud.

There were blown coverages, missed assignments, and guys that haven't even played before. I'm not making excuses, but that was a major contributer...

We know we can man handle the giants if we have to. We are the best in our division and will be in the NFC championship game.
