I know this might be a dumb question but when i read dieats it says 1 cup of whatever the food is when it says that what does it mean im in the uk so im a bit confused thanks.

I had a great "online conversion calculator" once. I lost the address though. Anyone have a link to one? The US was supposed to go metric in the '70s. What happened?
