This study was just done on the best fans in the NFL. The study is really fair and took into consideration everything over the past 10 years, including how many people showed up when the team was bad, when the weather was crappy, how many games they sell out, cities with lower incomes and people still paying money to go to games..etc....took into consideration a number of things

You can click the link at the top of the page to read the methodology and see how it was conducted..

Anyway....Cleveland Browns fans are #1 as the most loyal in the NFL. This is not anecdotal....it is statistical evidence. Even when they suck...the fans don't!

How does your team rank?

Philly #3, I thought we would 1 or 2.

the proof is in the pudding. It is not anecdotal or what you feel it should be. it is researched over years and years. Pittsburgh fans are like 31 or 32! I thought the would be higher. Steeler fans were calling into ESPN radio this AM and some where saying that they weren't surprised because as it gets cold less people go out to the games to support their team and when they are bad, less people go. In contrast to the brown's fans who have sold out 99.8% of thier games over the past 10 years, even they only won 30% of their games in that time.

The two coldest cities to play in are Buffalo and Green Bay, respectively and their fans all appear to be very loyal as well.

Packers!!!!

yup....they have to have good fans considering that a lot of people in wisconson own shares to the team. you can buy shares to and be an owner.

I saw an episode on ESPN about it. The coaches and players said that they can be sitting down in public and people will come up to them and say things like "I am part owner and I think you should have passed on 3 and 4 last week"..." They are also the only team that doesn't have an owners box (since there is not one owner) and they are the only team that the owner do not have seats at the stadium!! Some owners have to stand outside and scalp tickets just like everyone else.

Hey more Steeler fans would go the Steelers/Browns game if the Browns actually put up a fight. Heck If I wasnt in colorado Id go to more games, My brother dropped 400 bucks to see the AFC Champ game.
