AS a boxing big fan I am looking forward to see one of the most anticipated fight of the last decade , namely Tyson-Lewis on June 8th.

I cannot wait to see Tyson's ass on the canvass...

I don't know what I hate more: Tyson as a human being, or Lewis with his cocky "I'm better than anyone else" attitide. Personally, I like to see both guys just knock the shit out of each other. But I suppose I hate Tyson more, so I pick Lewis (although I think Tyson will beat him).

How could you even compare those 2 guys?

Lennox, who I highly respect and I consider him a real gentleman , he might be cocky but he surely can back his cockiness up with his record though, whereas Tyson besides his humoungous cockiness , he is despicable,disgraceful,overated punk boxer, and mentally retarded.

There are many great athlets or boxers who are cokcy but nevertheless they are decent human being who are role model for many young guys.

I do not see being cocky as a moral flaw or anything despicable.

Before that there is another interesting fight between Rahman-Holyfield. If Rahman loses he will never get a shot at the title. Same for Holyfield who at 40 his health deteriorates as we speak.

I am afraid that his quest for money and glory will pay a high price in terms of health/quality life.

He prooved himself enough as one of the greatest, but I really feel sory for him now. I go with Rahman...

Tyson was good ... and his main weapon was intimidation. But after Buster dusted him, he lost that.

Without the intimidation, any heavyweight who can box can beat Tyson. Most in his young career were beat even before the got in the ring. Ding would go the bell and they would immediately take one shot and start holding and grabbing. Once you get to that point, he was yours.

Lewis can box ... but he's a very lazy and unpredicatable boxer. If the 'boxer' shows up, he'll beat Tyson. If the lazy Lewis shows up, it will be a toss up because he tends to grab adn hold a lot - which is right where you don't want to be.

I hate Lewis , Tyson's a nut case and it would be kinda nice to see someone kick his ass , but i think he'll take out Lewis cause he's got a weak chin. Just wait till the fight on Saturday mark my word on this. Tyson will come out swinging and Lewis will go down. I say 5-6 rounds max.

I hate lewis too... however lewis is a great fighter... tyson has lack of exeperience fighting top notch fighters.. the only real top notch fighter tyson has fought is holyfield and he bit his ear off. lewis has to fight a different fight than he is used to to beat tyson and most likely lewis is in much better shape than tyson regardless of tyson's vigorous training he must be undergoing.. tyson.. is an animal and this is his main weapon.. if it comes down to a descision lewis will win but I believe tyson is more than capable of knocking lewis out.. especially if lewis walks in like the cocky bastard he is .. i voted draw because its hard to say . i wouldnt mind if it ended up like the end of rocky(the first one) where they both knock each other out

The match just ended 5 min ago and as I was expected Lewis proved to be the best in the world. I was right when I said that Tyson will kiss the canvass! To all those pro-Tysson there you have it!

As I said Lewis is the man. Justice has been done.

The misfit was oupunched,outjabed for the entire 8 rounds
Last round:Round 8
In the seventh round, Lewis landed 31 punches to four for Tyson. Now he comes out in the eighth and jabs some more. Tyson lands a right to the body and Lewis begins circling him.

Lewis lands a right and then left uppercut. Tyson's knees buckle and Cotton rules it a knockdown. Lewis goes after him, landing a right with 1:18 left. Lewis batters Tyson with lefts and rights. Tyson throws a wild right, but he has nothing left. Lewis' right hand crumples Tyson on canvas. He's on his back and tries get up at eight. Fight is stopped with Lewis the winner.

That was an awesome display by Lewis and I'm glad Tyson got his ass handed to him.

Although I give Tyson credit for finally acting like a man and giving Lewis credit at the end.

i sit down with it and 2 guys with mouths stuffed say "your burger smells good. can we have some?"

Lennox Lewis Proves once again he is the best boxer in the heavy weight division! Technically he is unbeatable and he just proved that he can beat the best of the brawlers as well. Kudos to Kitchener, Ontario, Canada raised Lennox Lewis!

That fight was horrible , Tyson just wasn't there. I never thought he'd get his ass handed to him like that. I got to take my hat off to Lewis who fight great. I'm surprised Tyson even lasted that long he was taking powerful uppercuts and crosses the whole fight. Tyson just isn't the same though.

I thought it was a great fight. You saw Tyson come out in the first round looking extremely hungry; dancing around and weaving, where Lewis was sluggish and almost 'not there' mentally.

Then, as the fight progressed, you slowly saw a complete switch between the two athletes: Tyson in the corner, not looking at the ring, not looking at his trainers... and Lewis just glaring at Tyson, psyching himself up. I thought that Lewis really proved he's the rightful HW champ, and Tyson proved that he doesn't have the passion to box anymore. Just like everyone expected, without the circus bullshit that normally encompasses a Tyson fight.

Tyson hasn't "boxed" since Buster dropped his ass in 1990. He no longer jabs or throws combinations, he is washed up !

99% of the boxers who have fought Tyson in the past decade had lost the fight before they had even stepped into the ring.

Foreman would have cleaned his clock as well...

Didn't see the fight....was watching the hockey game....But Tyson is such a chump!! They should not let him fight anymore! He even admitted he could not beat Lewis!! Lewis did say that he was suprised Tyson took some of his punches(said he felt them through his fist!!( he has a hard head!)

By the time Foreman and Ali were doing this Ali had passed his prime ... it was interupted a lil by our gov ... so this is kinda hard for us to debate. I recall somewhere an interview from Ali about Foreman's punches being like getting hit with a wreaking-ball.

Larry Holmes would have waxed Ali in a prime to prime match up. The more shit Ali woulda talked the more punishment Holmes woulda dispensed. Holmes jab would shut ALi up ... the way Holmes threw that jab from his back foot through the snap of his arm as it hit his opponent's jaw is unmatched.

Lenex Lewis would have been a killer fight for Ali ... and one I would not prognosticate *****cough****Lewis victory******cough******

Tyson would have been knocked out by the third round. Ditto the Brothers Klitchko, Holyfield, and all those beat by these fighters.

Grag Page in his prime ... 8 or 10 fights after he went pro ... woulda been a tough fight for Ali to survive. Their styles were very much alike but Page has sic speed with precision aim from the hip or the shoulder. Fighters just never knew where he was comin from. This is pre drug use Page mind ya not the fat assed loser he turned into ... that was a major disappointment to me. His rise from gold medal Olympian status to top shelf pro then his fall to loser fat bastard status upset me. I was a fan ...
