When is too much? I know you can take more than the warning lables but how much puts you in that over does factor?

For some reason I prefer advil.. maybe it's the sugary coating the put on those little tabs... at least I thought it tasted sugary so I switched to the gel caps

And uhm, just read the label ? Of course you can take a bit more than that but do you really need to?

Ask Jimmy Kimmel. Is that that late night host that OD'd on Advil?

I've never taken an over-the-counter, or otherwise, painkiller that ever actually worked.

Just walk it off.

Advil is an ibuprofin product that can be useful for reducing inflammation.

The Advil liquid gels are 200mg each....you can take 4 of them at a time safely. That can be taken every 4-6 hours so basically three times a day during you being awake. You shouldn't take this for more than a week or two tops. These drugs are not mean to be taken daily for long periods of time. I am sure people do it but I wouldn't....you didn't mention why you want to take it....but anyways you can take 800mg of it at a time and be safe.

I actually wrote this post in a frantic yesterday. a family member of mine took..

Thursday 4 advil 3 aleve 2 tylenol
Friday 3 advil 2 aleve
Saturday 3 advil
Sunday 2 aleve 2 bayer

He started feeling dizzy by Sunday...yesterday we brought him to a poison control center in NYC, they said it was basically nothing to worry about his body was just reacting to too much sodium naproxen and Ibprohen. He wasnt posioned, it just threw his balance off a little bit.

The doctor told him to eat alot of iron and drink alot of water for the next few days and he will be fine. But thanks for all the help guys.
