I have to ask.
Why would anyone at 6'2", 177 - be trying to cut? |
|
Good question.
Also how many meals are you eating in a day? You say you jog for 25 minutes is this just a steady pace, like not really running? |
|
why not just eat clean at slightly below maintenance and continue to do cardio and strength training rather then doing a "cut". its winter afterall and theres not much purpose in having 6% bodyfat if you are under sweaters. Then come spring time if you still arent as lean as you want to be you can bother with cutting then? Then again im canadian so it might be different for you. Its just a suggestion

I think the same - as long as you keep eating clean and being consistent on your workout regime, the weight will come off. I think it's just that for men the problem areas are around the mid-section and for us gals, it's hips & thighs... It's the last to go, but it will - just don't give up!
Be sure you give yourself one cheat meal a week, if you need to for mental purposes. |
I hope I can keep this up.

For just losing weight to look and feel better, (yes I'm going to RE-reiterate) the clean disciplined diet and regular cardio will do everything for you.

But cardio should be moderate...there's no need to do a ton of it just to lose fat.
I honestly don't think that you need a lot of taxing cardio, either. You can recomposition nicely with a clean diet, hard and heavy weight training, and plenty of walking. |
