Alright, heres the deal. I drink this stuff like its going out of style. I always have the bottles in my house, and can drink up to 2-3 a day, some flavored, others not. When i am at werk, that is all i drink, cus the rest of the stuff has sugar in it, and im not all about that. Now, is Carbonated water considered water!??!? Like, im drinkin a lot of this stuff, but am i getting my daily requirements for water?! If it is water, then im defintly getting over the daily requirment. Please help, i wanna know so bad.

no

Why not? It's just water + CO2. I don't think CO2 dehydrates you, so why not?

C...thats wut i thought. I mean i guess it depends on wut kind of carbonated water u get?!...like the bottled stuff still ses in the ingredients that it contains carbonated water...

It depends on the product you use but there is some evidence to suggest that carbonated beverages(depending on ingredients) strip the body of phosphorus and calcium.

Carbonated water will also create a false sense of fullness, perhaps inhibiting your water intake.

Indeed.

It shouldnt be a problem as long as there isnt any caffeine in it. If its plain seltzer water, your fine.

The flavored versions might have other chemicals in it that will have a diuretic effect, but theres no way to tell without knowing the ingredients

I would just stick to water

I used to drink it. When I quit drinking soda, I drank it instead. But now I can't stand the stuff.
