Snow?
Its white and tastes good, except when it's yellow.

Posted by: musclepump

No. I'm a Seattle-ite and they were playing like high school kids.

At least now they're coming back.

Posted by: goandykid

Jeremy Stevens sucks.

Is it just me or is Theisman a complete idiot? His comments rival Madden's for the "I just said shit that doesn't make any sense" award.

Case in point.....Donal Driver's 10yrd. slant that he out ran everyone for a TD.

Theisman:

"Now, a lot of people say that Dondal Driver isn't that fast.....and that is true. But, if you are a defender trying to chase him you might have a hard time."

So is he fast or not you moron?

Posted by: IainDaniel

Hahaha

Posted by: the nut

Maybe LT did a little more damage than first thought.

Posted by: goandykid

He meant slow mentally?

Posted by: the nut

Did you guys hear Jimmy Kimmel ask Theisman how his leg was, that's funny shit!

LT hit... watch the replay!

Posted by: goandykid

Kimmel and the play by play guy should be the only MNF annoucners

I almost threw up in my mouth listening to all the Favre sucking up on MNF last night. I am so ready for that guy to retire, he is so overrated by the media it is embarassing.

Seattle won. Of course that makes me happy and I do think the best team won...however...

the roughing the passer call in the forth quarter was absurd. The NFL has got to stop this crap NOW! Seattle gets a first down on the lamest roughing call ever...then they score a TD.

After the screw job in the Super Bowl, Seattle getting a call or two is OK with me, but damn that was a horrible call.

My normal indicators for forecasting results were off a little.

First, it was snowing and Mike Holmgren wasn't wearing a hat. Coach McCarthy was wearing a baseball cap. You can't think if your head is cold.
Pack 1 Seattle 0

Brett Favre had a cystic hork on his nose. Everyone knows that pickles like that promote introverted concentration. Brett needs to concentrate more.

Pack 2 Seattle 0

Bad calls are part of the game, but the refs took this game away from me and my system with several blown calls all favoring Seattle. I'm sticking to that story.

On the other hand, Seattle is a much more talented and mature team than Green Bay. And Holmgren does have an impeccable regular season w/l record.

It's a sad commentary that the game was even as close as it was. Green Bay is probably the 28th best team in the NFL and Seattle is replete with all pros. If things remain unchanged, I see a first round exit from the playoffs in Seattle's future. Their time to win it all was last year. This year's team is not as good as last year's.

Several? I give you the roughing call and that was a big one, but what else?

Posted by: goandykid

Dear Pepper,

I love Favre. Really though, if I were to draft an all-time best team it would be him. Not the msot accurate or fastest, but he can carry a team and is fearless. Him or Montana

Elway was a loser too much in his career. Plus his uniforms then were terrible. Great still. Not above Favre or Montana though.

Difficult to debate... but more wins than any of those guys.

Bad calls are part of the game but I do like to complain.

Patrick Dendy was flagged for illegal contact on Nate Burleson. The penalty kept Seattle's drive alive and turned a field goal opportunity into a touchdown drive. Replays showed nothing.

Marquand Manuel was flagged for holding Stevens in the end zone. Replay shows he did not.

And finally, the roughing call. That was terrible.

Green Bay was taking the ball away from Seattle like they owned it and GB still couldn't do a thing. GB is going to win 5 or 6 games this year. At least they were competitive for 3 quarters and that's just about the best I can hope for this year.

You are right about the roughing but wrong about the others. I guess I can see your point, somewhat about the Burleson call, but not the Stevens. I'll watch it again on the Tivo.

You know it's like watching the Tyson/Douglas fight. Green Bay had no chance to beat Seattle. GB gave them a good run and unlike Douglas/Tyson...they lost. I just like to be bitter and blame the loss on everyone but GB.

This Tivo device you speak of....about how much does one of those cost?

Tivo is the best fucking invention ever. Pause live tv or rewind it.

Don't know how much it costs in the US, but if you have Digital Cable or Satellite tv, it is available.

That does sound good. I have antenna TV so I'll have to pick one up. One of these days I'll join the 21st century.
