Stability Ball Circuit-
1.Leg Curls x15
2.Wall Slides x15
3.Crunches x15
4. Push ups at thigh x15
5. Balance

3 sets

Could i Use that as my warm up every time I workout or would that lead to a muscular imbalance.....What else could I add to it?

Right now I just use it on non-lifting days as a warm up for cardio. Could i just make it the staple of my warm up?

What is it about that warmup that makes you want to try it?

I don't see anything grossly wrong with it, though I would try to be more specific to what you need with your warmup. I'm not a big fan of crunches for the warmup either.

I have read it and don't particularly agree with everything since my goals necessitate a warm-up a bit differently due to my style of training.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with my warm-up as it serves the purpose I desire. It activates my core to the extent I want. It increases blood flow through my joints and muscles. It increases my heart rate so that my core is warm due to the increased blood flow. It also takes each of my muscles through a particular range of motion.

It has been working for me and I will continue to perform it until I choose to engage a higher intensity.

I am with CP on the crunches. I am not a big fan of doing anything seated or on my back during the warm-up, the only exception being scorpions or crosses if my back is tight.

I like the high knees, butt kickers, straight leg march, dynamic type of warm-up followed by a couple of warm-up sets before each exercise.

Who said anything about crunches? I perform full decline situps. I also perform high knees as well as some hip flexing stretches to allow for full range while training my routine that shortly follows.

My response was to the thread starter, who has crunches in his/her warm-up.

My apologies. I was under the impression you were speaking to me since you did not quote.
