protein time

when is best to eat alot of protien or get them from supplements? on off days? after workout? before workout? can some one tell me which works best and how often i shuld take a protien shake or eat food with alot of protien?

Every meal you eat should contain some form of protein whether it is from meat/fish/dairy or protein powder.

Hey, on this subject... when counting your protien intake for the day, do you take into account non-animal proteins? I eat alot of soy (milk and me don't agree), lentils, red beans, and such.

A serving of lentils has like 25 grams of protein, or raw soybeans has like 12g but its obviously not animal protein.

Mind you I get plenty of animal/egg/whey protein daily. Just since you mentioned the sources I figured I would append a question to the topic .

Yeh I also count all protein including that from non meat/fish/dairy sources
