I am an extremely clean eater, almost too clean....
I eat 5 - 6 meals a day...... my carb sources are always oatmeal and brown rice (mainly oatmeal)
my protien is chicken breast, tuna, occasional ostrich meat, turkey burgers or a lean steak....
Also I utilize whey protien shakes....
There is not much fat in my diet so I supplement 8 fish oil caps at every meal... which equal about 40 fish oil caps a day....
A typical meal for me would be-
50 gm carbs- oatmeal
50 gm protien- chicken breast
8 oz glass of milk/ or water
8 fish oil caps
is this ok?

No having that much fish oil is not a good idea.
Causes blood thinning and can have an impact on glucose levels.
That has to be expensive as hell.

I take 5-8 caps per day.
8 caps per meal x 5 meals = 40 fish oil caps
Probably not the best thing. try and vary your fat sources up.

Yeah - you might want to stop that... 40 fish oil caps is in the realms of doing you MAJOR damage (it not only thins blood - but it will also screw around with your insulin sensitivity at that level...)
There is nothing 'unclean' about things like nuts, seeds, avocado, olive oil, olives, red meat... Also - you DO need some cholesterol and saturated fats in your diet too - so some 2% cottage cheese wouldn't hurt either.
