You guys have seen this article? http://www.maximonline.com/articles...=7334&src=gx186

I think the list is clearly a joke since it refers to NASCAR as a sport.

Bad link.

And I don't think driving a car is a sport.

This one is better...

We need a new name for these wanna be sports.

The fact that playing video games is listed as a sport is rediculous.

Yes let's call them GAMES.I saw chess and monopoly on that list as well.I don't personally consider race car driving, golf, poker, dart throwing or many other things that you can do with very limited to no athletic ability a sport. They are simply games to me.I for one love to fish, but I still don't think it's a sport.

It's all in what the definition of "sport" is. I think they could all be called sports in their own right, most are not very popular, but still sports.

I think the article was trying to say which ones were the crapiest and to me just because I don't understand something or follow it does not make it crappy. I like all sports and competition, but that's just me.

from that wikipedia list of sports:The factual accuracy of this article or section is disputed.

wikipedia is crap, joe shmoe's opinion bout something. only time i go on there is to find out about an undisputable fact ie how many ounces in a liter or something. for more grey area stuff i will look elsewhere.
