I've noticed that new posts usually go at the end of the threads. Is there a way to make the posts start with the most recent and work their way back towards th oldest???

Not on a individual basis, that's how I have the board set-up. The reason for this is when you go into a thread you need to read posts from the begining first. You will find that 99.9% of all boards are set this way.

It's set up like how we read a book... top to bottom... left to right.
