yea, the roster is cool.....but not as cool as the all Madden Team.

Posted by: IainDaniel

Why cause the players on the Madden team make moves an amateur can't make?

Did you here Madden talk about Palmer running to his right and throwing back to his left. He said only Bret Favre could do that, I spit my beer out!

Posted by: the nut

I was suprised to see Romo got the nod over McNabb, though he did enough to get in.

It wasn't Palmer. that was last nights game......He said it about Phillip Rivers....I nearly shit myself also....hahahahahaha!

You know what he says though....

"if you cut off his arms and his legs, Brett Farve would still be the best torso in football."

Posted by: Double D

I cant believe they didnt give the nod to Leonard Little (Rams). He is a pro-bowler for sure.

Posted by: Pepper

Where the hell is Josh Brown?

Three Rams, bitches.

Posted by: SpeedyReedy5

Westbrook was robbed he is clearly the best running back in the NFC and the most improtant

Brian Westbrook only has 100 more rushing yards than Michael Vick, i would go with Tiki. I think Westbrook could have been in as WR.

They'll probably perform well too. They got the whole month of January to rest.

Not at all. Meaningless game that the majority of football fans don't even tune into. Super bowl banners matter

I'm from foxboro and i'm a hardcore patriots fan but i'm not "shitting bricks" over this. He hasn't played too well this season mainly because of the receiving corps and the fact that he lost his two best receivers in givens and branch. He's also throwing more interceptions than ever before.

The other 3 guys are obviously more deserving. Brady is probably a 4 or 5 on that list under quarterbacks.

But like Goodfella said, it's the Superbowl that counts. You don't win anything in pro bowls except bragging rights.

Posted by: I Are Baboon

Tom Brady gets left off in the AFC and frikkin Tony Romo makes it in the NFC. What's that say about the balance of power between the two conferences?

Of course Michael Vick just broke the all time single season rushing record for a QB, and Westbrook just rushed for 1,000 yds for the 1st time in his career.

selection among their peers....its big! Every football game you watch they say 3 time Pro Bowler Steve Smith etc...etc...etc...! Saying its not big is just excuses and stupid. Its the All Star game. The players of the NFL dont think its stupid or meaningless. I bet deep down inside Tom Brady is very disappointed even more so because he was there for a few years. But he has not earned the spot this year he is a middle of the road QB this season....doesnt mean he's not good but not very good this year.

I LOL'd at that but then thought that the Seahawks will only have one week less rest.

Every Seahawk except Josh Brown and Julian Peterson have underachieved this year. That includes Mr. Pro Bowl, Walter Jones.

Sad year.

That is the point, how does that make him pro bowl material. He is good all-purpose-wise, but if running the ball is the goal, he is 4th or 5th down the line.

Posted by: ReproMan

Brian Westbrook:
Rushing: 1097 yds, 7 TD, 5.1 Avg.
Reciving: 664 yds, 4 TD, 9.0 Avg., 74 rec.

Tiki Barber:
Rushing: 1357, 2 TD, 4.7 Avg.
Reciving: 429, 0 TD, 8.3 Avg., 52 rec.

Westbrook played 1 less game. I'll take the 11 TD's over Tiki's 2 anyday. Westbrook got robbed.

I think the effectiveness of playing the postition is the goal, not just running yds. 11 TD's to 2 TD's is all the proof I need.

I agree. Westbrook is an animal. Had the best year of his career and his the #1 reason IMO the Eagles have been able to stay above .500 in the absence of McNabb. And on top of that he missed a game and had been playing all season on a sore knee. When he's 100%, he's even better. As much as I despise the Eagles (rooted for them against the Giants), I have to admit that it is extremely unusual for Westbrook to not go there. He owned on my fantasy squad too.

Yeah, he really got stiffed this year.

He owned on my fantasy squad too.

LT + Westbrook = Best team in the league.

Now I just have to win the final this week and I'm $250 richer.

The Seahawks hold LT under a hundred/no TDs on Sunday.

:awaken:

How about this:

LT runs for 175 and 3 TD's in a 31-30 loss to Seattle?

Posted by: P-funk

I don't think LT is going to play to much with the injury to the jaw and the fact that the chargers have already locked up a trip to teh playoffs. Which is good for Seattle because they suck balls.

Injury to the jaw?

Posted by: ReproMan

Bah, I'm not worried. They still haven't clinched home field. He'll play as much as he has been.

Yeah I'm in the championship game in my league too. Which two out of these would you start?

Brian Westbrook @ DAL
Rudi Johnson @ DEN
Thomas Jones @ DET
Warrick Dunn, home - CAR

or I could scoop Ladell Betts. He's had like 3 or 4 100 yd games in a row. I also have Peyton and will start either Jeff Garcia or Tim Rattay . What do you think? My wideouts are horrible, with Joey Galloway or Lee Evans my best.

Posted by: Dale Mabry

Out of those, probably Westbrook, although Johnson will be used quite a bit once Denver is down by 2 scores.

Rudi is a great RB, but he doesn't touch the ball nearly as much as Westbrook. In my league I would play Westbrook because receptions = 1 pt. and Dallas hasn't exactly showed stellar defense in the past 2 weeks. Between the wideouts I would go with Evans, he's having a pretty decent year.

I'm thinking about giving Grossman the nod over Garcia (I have him too) this week but that's still up for debate.

My Lineup:

QB - Grossman/Garcia
WR - TJ Housh
WR - Laverneus Coles
RB - Ladainian T.
RB - Westbrook
Flex - Derrick Mason
TE - Ben Watson/Guy from Denver
K - J. Carney/L.Tynes
D - Philly

I bet you were licking your chops with the Philly D at the beginning of the year.

How are your QB points covered? Grossman is guaranteed to throw 1 INT regardless of who he plays, Garcia not so much.

I know. I played Grossman the night he had 6 TO's himself. I ended up with -6 pts. total.

20 yds = 1 pt.
TD = 5 pts.
INT = -2 pts.
Fumb Lost = -2 pts.

Garcia is a guaranteed 12-15 pts, but Grossman has the potential to score in the 20's and with the chance of San Diego clinching home field without even stepping foot on the field, I need all the points I can get.

Yeah Westbrook and LT must gave crushed opposing RB combinations in your league. Next year I'm putting a ban on anyone in my league drafting LT . J/K.

Who would you start, Rattay @ Cleveland or Garcia @ Dallas?

Me to. Grossman had 1 good game for me and 3 bad. He sucks.

Yeah it did. I have 1792 total pts and 2nd place has 1580, the lowest total in the league is 1493. That's total domination. I had #1 overall pick and I took LT, then Westbrook came all the way back around to 25.

I would still start Garcia.
