I also remember in the cartoons there were dinosaur transformers in the earth that get unburried and they kicked everyones ass, but were kinda the good guys.

still, I'm pretty cautious. The teaser had me all giddy like the dweeb that I am but this trailer makes me have doubts. It looks like it could very well become a movie about robots with the names from a popular series, rather than a true Transformers movie. I wouldn't be surprised to find that in attempt to appeal to a broader audience it sacrificed some of its roots... cuz um... am I the only person feeling like this movie is trying to have a post 9/11 appeal?
