LSU is awesome. Notre Dame was bad this year but they consistently have the toughest schedule in college football
. im going to have to say teams in the sec have the toughest schedule. LSU, Florida, Arkansas. notre dame used to be a powerhouse in college football. they are a has been living off of a previous time
Is it just me or were they a total bust this year? I think they were terribly over-rated. They got friggin rocked last night!

hopefully bcs will learn from this year. notre dame=no good.
boise state=for real |

Me too. None of the wins ND had were against any team that finished in the top 25 (Georgia Tech ranked 18th in the Fox Poll, but higher then 25th in the others). All the ranked opponents kicked their ass. Plus, now ND has lost 9 straight bowl games, and some of those we not big name bowls.
Someone remind me why Brady Quinn is supposed to be a 1st round pick in the NFL draft? |

And in reality they could have had a few other defeats this season. Remember the Collapse by Michigan St.

Yeah those service academies are much tougher than the SEC schools. On second thought, I am going to assume you were kidding.
Those service teams are harder then Tulane, Louisiana-Lafayette, or UCF SEC teams play, Navy barely lost to BC. Georgia Tech, Penn State, Michigan, UCLA, and USC is a strong schedule
I still await a ND fan to point out a big win in the last two years.

Their schedule was about as strong as a typical SEC team. I think the Sagarin ratings would agree with this.
So, I am not really poking fun at their schedule per se. My point is that they beat the softies on their schedule and lose to everyone else. I still await a ND fan to point out a big win in the last two years. ![]() |

Im not a ND but a Penn State fan and they beat SEC team Tennessee pretty good
Between the 3 of them they have 5 losses combined against outside competition. Georgia Tech and Penn State will both finish in the top 25 and they beat both of them. And, yes Navy is not a power house, but they are in the top 35 in power rankings, which in my book is not a cupcake.
