This doesn't make sense to me...

Lets say your maintaining your current bw, and you have a cheat meal every friday night, lets just say an extra 1500 calories, on top of the calories you would have had for that meal.

Now considering your at maintenance, wouldn't you gain a pound every 2-2.5 weeks or so? Like doesn't this one cheat meal throw everything off?

Whether it's true or not, I've heard doing something like that can actually boost your metabolism since you don't have it normally... Your body responds with releasing different digestive chemicals to deal with it depends on what your cheat meal is in order to digest it faster. Someone please feel free to call me on BS, just something I heard and can in no way prove.

From what I've learned at school so far, one meal will not throw everything off. However if you do that several times per week I can't say. I would personally think you're fine though.
