Falcons' Vick Raises Suspicion At Airport

ATLANTA -- Police said on Wednesday that Michael Vick reluctantly surrendered a water bottle to security at Miami International Airport that contained a residue "closely associated with marijuana."

The Atlanta Falcons' quarterback entered a concourse on Wednesday morning at the airport with the 20-ounce bottle. He eventually handed it over and boarded his flight to Atlanta. But a police report says his initial reluctance to turn over the bottle aroused suspicion among airport security screeners.

The report says the bottle was found to have a hidden compartment that contained a small amount of a substance and an aroma associated with marijuana. The compartment was hidden by the bottle's label so that it appeared to be a full bottle of water when held upright.

No charges have been filed but police said the bottle would be sent to a lab for analysis.

Falcons spokesman Reggie Roberts said team officials will look into the matter and discuss it with Vick before making any more comment.

everyone knows Vick is a pothead...nothing new here. I am surprised he didn't get arrested for that. I guess the evidence wasn't strong enough.

You'd think he'd use his head after he got his balls broken over that picture. I don't understand why he would try to take it on the plane, he could just get some when he landed, wherever he's going.

Jeez he couldn't afford those vacuum seal bags you can put your clothes in and hide the shit in his luggage in a resealed bag of coffee? He fucking deserves to get busted...I've had friends fly whole bags of shit all different ways even had there bags searched and still never got busted. But it's just weed anyway who really cares, but with the money he makes you'd think he'd be a little bit more careful....

If I wanted to get high on the plane I'd cook it up in some butter and mix it in some vegetarian dish and claim a special diet, what are they gonna do run lab tests on my vegetable medley?
