I used to skate back in the day too. This guy is in a league of his own when it comes to pros I've seen.

That was awesome. What a great song. Love A.F.I. Anyone see them on SNL this past weekend?

Talk about taking it up a notch. That guy is unbelievable. How many broken bones do you think he has suffered for his sport?

Before I even watch this I am going to say it is Rodney Mullen.

I was thinking the same thing. I bet many!

Rodney is amazing at what he does but he there is a large chunk of people in the skateboarding community that look down on him because he tricks are "fancy and dancey". I'm not such a fan of the super technical stuff myself, but I can't respect this guy for his amazing balance and coordination.

I think guys like P.J. Ladd, Marc Johnson, Kenny Anderson, Mike Carrol, and Eric Koston much more entertaining to watch.

Especially P.J. Ladd, check out this video, it is considered one of the best skateboarding parts in history. http://youtube.com/watch?v=yLC4DwJ1xOw This guy looks the most comfortable on a board than anyone else I have seen.

Btw, most of it is in Boston, so GoodFellah will probably enjoy this.

Yeah that was a great part. I know what you're saying about Mullen's tech style. I figured a lot of the people less familiar with skateboarding might appreciate it more than the average street style. I myself have always been a fan of guys like Geoff Rowley, Muska, Bastien Salabanzi, Daewon Song, ect. Watching these old videos and parts brings back good memories.

Yeah, Rowley and Salabanzi are really good. I recently pulled out a few skate videos the other day. One of the them was the flip video "Really Sorry", both their parts are amazing.

Outstanding. Some of that was art. I don't see how that can be improved or evolved.
