When cutting how bad are dairy products?

I'm talking about healthy dairy products though, I eat a lot of "Quark" cheese, low fat cottage cheese, low fat natural yogurts and fat free greek yogurts a lot when trying to cut as they are low in fat, cals and carbs and fairly high in protein. But I have heard by some that diet and dairy don't go together.

What are your thoughts?

Some Dairy is fine during a cut.

Yogurt (probiotic)
Cottage cheese
1% or skim milk
Certain types of cheese

Again all this in moderation. And depending on how strict you want your cut to be, will influence how much diary will be a part of your diet.

no, that is a myth.

dairy products like milk, yogurt and soft cheese are fine. but do stay away from butter and all that.
