Drink your whey and mix in some carbs like dextrose not much though. Alot of what you eat has to do with wether your, maintaining, gaining or losing weight. Also how hard you push your self matters alot.

so u mean i should have less whey/dextrose after a short workout such as 10-15 minutes.

for isntance this is one example of the workouts im gona do

Circuit Four — This circuit is a body weight circuit that can be done anywhere! Complete as many rounds as possible in 10 minutes.

1. Squats x 20

2. Push-ups x 15 (vary hand spacing on each set or elevate feet)

3. V-ups x 10

4. Reverse Lunge x 12 reps

Like I said

"Alot of what you eat has to do with wether your, maintaining, gaining or losing weight"

I would take 25 gms of protein and 40 gms of carbs. Most important meals are before and right after you work out. Id take more when I work out large muscles to failure like legs and back. Throw in some burpees in your circuit those kick your ass.

I know personally whenever I done with something like cardio I dont use near as much protein or carbs as I do whenever I am done with weight training.

its not really pure cardio. This workout is a little different then riding a bike or running on a treadmill. I sort of want to set up something like this. It would only last 10 min but your whole body would be hurting.

1. Squats x 20

2. Push-ups x 15 (vary hand spacing on each set or elevate feet)

3. V-ups x 10

4. Reverse Lunge x 12 reps

you'll be building more muscle then the days you work out small muscle groups at the gym. I sort of want to set up something like this. It would only last 10 min but your whole body would be hurting.

Yes I run circuit training as cardio now and then as well. But my cardio are sprints and I truthfully think I have the same chance of adding muscle to things like quads, hams, and calves as a person whos doing circuits. Now if you are talking about a moderate pace walk, ok I can see a good point there.

im not neceseary trying to gain or lose
just get in the best shape of my life
but seeing as that i am 172 lbs, and want to compete at 160 i guess i can lose a few lbs and gain some muslce at the same time. so i 'll just eat a regular meal. than. save teh whey+dex for after lifting hardcore
